![]() The Terminal Collection: 1985 -1999 The latter half of the 1980s saw JGB evolve into a publishing phenomenon... The Day of Creation was widely hyped and anticipated... and strangely disappointing. Running Wild proved to be a strange little novella, and the mandatory collection, Memories of the Space Age, turned out to be a winner for Arkham House, hardly a publisher noted for its JGB-like writers' stable. The signed Ms. of Running Wild is interesting... the piece is a photocopy of an editor's proof, but the signature looks real. ![]() JGB Video Interview ICA Video, The Roland Collection. War Fever is followed by The Kindness of Women, a wildly underrated bio-novel, and then things start to move in a new direction... Rushing to Paradise seems self-referential and slightly behind the times, but it does sort of act as a bridge into Cocaine Nights, a new move into social criticism and the mystery genre.
